Coach Training Initiative

OurPitch, in collaboration with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), trained 35 coaches from underprivileged communities from Mlawe & Vubwi wards. These intensive training sessions, led by professional coaches, focused on mentoring participants in the foundational principles of football coaching. By equipping these coaches with the knowledge and expertise needed to nurture young athletes, we are building a sustainable future for football in Eastern Zambia.

OurPitch Madala Tournament

With your assistance, OurPitch, alongside the Ministry of Community Development Vubwi aims to mobilise 70 teams from Mlawe and Vubwi in a competitive and professionally-led tournament. The three-month tournament will engage 1120 youth players. The teams involved are separated into age and gender brackets - each bracket functioning as its own event. Every team that participates will receive a practise football while the finalists across each bracket will receive OurPitch jerseys. OurPitch plans to fund referee fees and provide essential match equipment that will be stored and protected for future use by the community.
