Sesheke District is situated in the south-western region of Zambia sharing a border with Namibia along the Zambezi river and the upper reaches of the Barotse Floodplains. The district is a rural district made up of many small villages and settlements scattered along the Zambezi river with a population of 72,665. The primary economic activity in Sesheke is agriculture either in the form of subsistence farming or small-scale commercial farming of maize, cassava, sorghum or livestock in communal grazing grounds on the floodplain.
Between the 10th September to the 14th of September 2025, OurPitch, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, hosted a FAZ-E License training course for local school teachers and coaches. The program attracted ninety-eight male (98) and twenty-six (26) female participants from across the district with 75%+ being from local schools.
