Kitwe District is Zambia’s main industrial hub with a population of 857,000 and a vibrant youth population. Despite its greater development as compared to other districts like Mufulira or Masaiti, Kitwe still faces challenges such as youth unemployment, urban poverty and inadequate recreational infrastructure. As a consequence, Kitwe’s youth struggle to actively participate in their communities.

Between the 13th and 17th of April 2026, OurPitch, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, hosted a FAZ-E License training course for local school teachers and coaches. The training attracted a total of one hundred and seventy-three (173) male participants and eighty-four (84) female participants.
