Margaret
Margaret Malia is a Project Officer at Tackle Zambia, an organisation that harnesses the power of football to deliver sexual and reproductive health education across local communities. She works on initiatives such as the Aspire Programme for boys and the PIP (Programme for Education for Family Planning) for girls, both targeting young people aged 11–18. Through these programmes, Margaret helps integrate vital health education - covering topics such as HIV, STIs, and personal wellbeing - that engages and empowers young people.
With support from OurPitch’s FAZ-E coach training, Margaret has strengthened her coaching expertise and expanded her impact. She now works closely with local coaches and peer educators, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to deliver both football training and health education more effectively. Passionate about increasing female representation in coaching, Margaret is committed not only to empowering her community but also to becoming a leading coach and role model for the next generation.
